The 10th day of the Lunar New Year, also known as the God of Wealth Day, people have been queuing up to buy gold each year, hoping for luck and prosperity for the year.
Many gold designs have been introduced today to customers in the form of bars and coins inscribed with the mascot of the year, God of Wealth, lucky charms bearing the symbol for Phuc (Happiness), Loc (Prosperity), Tho (Longevity), and Tai (Wealth), the 12 zodiac animals, or spiritual figurines.
Gold products are sold both online and on-site to address buyers’ needs, with many shops offering door-to-door delivery.
Doji Gold & Gems Group (DOJI) launched gold coins with the Taurus symbol, blister gold products shaped like a gold ingot continue to be the focus in the 2021 season.
Besides, DOJI also offers buffalo figurines made of 24-karat gold, weighing nearly 0.3 taels, and other gold bars carved with the image of the buffalo, the God of Wealth, and others.

Phu Nhuan Jewelry JSC (PNJ) has also launched a series of new products like an 18-karat gold Taurus jewellery collection, monolithic 24k gold mascot charm bracelets with each keylock inscribed with “Lucky”. Besides, PNJ also serves popular products like Loc and Tai gold bars, Phuc, Loc, and Tai gold bars, PNJ gold bars, all stamped with the Taurus symbol.
Le Tri Thong, general director of PNJ said that the product designs have been prepared since the middle of last year.
At the same time, small gold trading enterprises also introduce their own gold designs for the God of Wealth Day. In Bao Tin Minh Hai, in addition to 24-karat gold figurines, there are also feng shui products for luck, such as cards of jade stone coated with gold.
